Yoga for Surfers:

If you practice Yoga, it will improve your balance, flexibility, strength, concentration and if you work hard in class it will be very helpful for doin a better performance in the surf. Yoga classes offered by Carve Surf Morocco also provide the opportunity to relax and energize in a friendly, fun environment.  There is an expert instructor who will teach you on her roof terrace from where you will also enjoy beautiful ocean views. You can also practice during sunrise and sunset. All this is in addition to Carve Surf Morocco’s surf lesson packages. Surf Lesson Package for beginners and intermediate level surfers:

This package is offered for the beginners and also for those who have already mastered riding broken waves and want to improve their skill  with getting into the line-up and paddling into unbroken waves. Qualified instructors will teach you about the ocean and they will ensure your safety, will get you from your first memorable pop-up, to confidently catching and riding unbroken waves. There are some beaches within a short drive from the camp with perfect waves where you will learn how to surf.

Salt’s Luxury retreat offers 3 or 7 days of daily Yoga and Meditation classes designed to renew, detoxify and develop your yoga practice for maintaining fitness. You will meet experienced yoga teacher who will inspire you to deepen your yoga practice. He will also give individual adjustments in the classes and special attention to the complete beginners.

Surfing:

By joining surfing session offered by Salt’s Retreat you will learn surfing or if you are a surfer already then you can improve your skill. You will be guided by an expert surf instructor and will also do a daily yoga program that speeds up your muscle memory for surfing while energising, detoxifying and working out your body. Salt Retreat designs the program to suit your needs from introductory surfing lessons guaranteed to have you standing up on the first day through to coaching and guiding more advanced surfers.

Karma Surf Retreat is a Surf and Yoga Retreat in Portugal, situated in the small picturesque mountain village Malveira da Serra. This village has kept its traditional regional charm. While staying at this retreat you will enjoy a happy life close to the ocean. Everyday you will be able to watch the breathtaking panoramic view over the rolling hills the shoreline of Lisbon, Estoril, Cascais and the closest beach Praia do Guincho. From almost every corner of the retreat you will watch an astonishing ocean view of the blue Atlantic. You will have a memorable sunset view. You can also overlook the green and mystical forest of the Serra da Sintra from the north side of the villa.

This villa is located in an amazingly beautiful 2000 sqm garden surrounded with natural beauty and there are many hidden places where you can relax or do some meditation. In this tranquil and secluded location you can also enjoy the stunning sea and panoramic views of the coastline from Lisbon up to our home beach. In this two storey modern furnished villa you will find 5 bedrooms one of which includes 2 single beds, private bathroom and ocean view, another room has double bed, private bathroom and small terrace with sea view, and the third suite includes 2 single beds with private bathroom and the 4th one includes 2 single beds with small balcony and sea view. There is also another room where there are two single beds and from there you will be able to enjoy the view of the beautiful garden. Room one is nearby the kitchen and separated from other rooms.  If you chose room 2,3 and 4 you can have extra beds for your kids or friends. If you take room 4 or 5 then you will have to share the bathroom.

You can also stay at Boutique hotel or at Algarve Vila. Both of these accommodations are also comfortable and full of all the things you need.

Activities:

Surfing:

Karma Surf retreats offers surf program for both beginners and advanced level surfers. It’s a 5 days (Mon-Fri)  session and daily you will learn some theory (wave theory, priority rules, etc.) and of course practically how to surf in 2 × 60 minutes. The surf lessons start usually in the morning after your energizing yoga session and a delicious breakfast. The program can be rescheduled on wind, tide and wave conditions.Ssuitable surfboard, leash and wetsuit will be provided by the retreat but if you wish you can bring the equipments by yourself. A certified and trained instructor will guide you while surfing.

Yoga:

Karma Surf Retreat offers daily yoga lessons which are combined with the surf lessons. This retreat offers two 60 minute yoga sessions which will be held on 5 days before and after surfing lessons. The morning Yoga session will make you fit for the surf session and after surfing when you will do the afternoon Yoga session, that will make you relaxed, refreshed and energized and at night you will be able to sleep well. You will meet yoga instructors Annet ans Silvia who are also passionate surfers and have tailored the yoga exercises.
